Thee course is excellent for those who choose to walk. The course can easily be played in under two hours. The greens are small, however, they fit well into the design of the course. There is a creek that winds through the design, as well as two ponds, one large and one small. In total, water comes into play on five holes. The fairways are generally open, with the exception of two fairways that are narrow due to trees on the sides. There is a beautiful mixture of pine, oak, maple and green ash trees on the course. The signature hole is #7, the 94-yard, par 3, which features a creek crossing the fairway and boulders adorning the green, which is slightly rolling. There are also trees and wildflowers abundant on this hole. Ladies play from the same set of tees as the men.
